This was my first visit to Nantucket. I am very pleased I chose the Carlisle House Inn. Learned the property was newly renovated and under new ownership! Everything was perfect including the remarkably comfortable king-size beds! The Inn was very spacious yet comfortable and cozy right down to the s'mores they offer guests at their outdoor fire pit each evening. Great location to the ferry, museums and downtown shopping and dining! Can't wait to make a return visit!!! I would highly recommend to future Whaler guests!

We had the most amazing time at the Carlisle House Inn! Jeneane, the new owner, has exquisite taste. She has renovated and redecorated all the rooms and suites, and each one is more lovely than the next. The breakfast room is comfortable and sunny, the outdoor deck and firepit are charming and always a great spot for conversation. The location, a block away from the visitor center and across the street from a bus stop, manages to be both convenient and also private and quiet. Beach chairs and towels are provided, along with bikes and loads of great advice and tips from Jeneane. We felt like we found a new home away from home, and a dear new friend. I didn't want to leave, and I will definitely be back! Thank you for a wonderful trip!
